We've been completely overwhelmed with gratitude for the amazing response we've received in less than 48 hours! I'm speechless. THANK YOU! As we surpass our goal, let's keep this campaign going! With additional funding, we will purchase the following materials to expand our technological resources and to open the cultural lab to a music education workshop program, with the help and support from mentors in the U.S. and India who will help us in developing a curriculum:
-an electronic keyboard, CD player, speaker set (approx. $150)
-Indian instruments: a sitar, tambura, and tabla (approx. $150)
-a computer for the lab to use with the projector (used: approx. $200; new: approx. $400)
-music education teacher training (approx. $100)
-music books and CDs (approx. $100)
-funding for postage costs for an art pen pal exchange program with an international school (approx. $80 for one year for four standards)
-any additional funding will allocated for art and music teacher training for new teachers in future years, the museum/gallery visit fund, and more library books!
