I've had 3 lung surgeries since 2009.- Left upper lobe removed for non small cell carcinoma. The 1st surgery should have had a 80 % survival chance but it came back 9 months later in the right middle lobe . I was brave & once again did what was the best odds- I had the right middle lobe removed.
Again thanking God several times per day that my body was disease free and I knew this again without ever any doubt! Still with much pain from the 2nd surgery it came back again 4 months later and operated on in later 2011 - right upper partial lobectomy.
As every time prior - I thanked God that it too was caught, dealt with the pain and returning to work very quickly as was thankful to have a job and cancer out of my body. So very thankful to God!
August of this year- 2012, I go for a Pet scan and there's another nodule on the back of the right upper lobe the portion she left in so I could breath. Keeping my faith as always I knew that this biopsy would show the Dr's that it was not cancer! I was just called in this past Monday ( 10-07-12) and again tod that it is cancer and the same kind again.
the tumors show they will not respond to any chemo they have here and impossible to breath with another surgery.
I have found a few other places - 1 in Mexico and 1 in Canada that shows it stands a chance for me but the problem being is I can't pay my bills if I eave my job and the need help to pay for some treatment as it's not FDA approved.
I pray that someone out there some where please help me before it's too late.
