Dear Outdoor Afro Friends and Supporters!
Thank you again for all your support! While we did not make our goal of $15,000, we were able to keep what we raised (minus the Indiegogo admin fee!) and we have been stretching our dollars to the max to make our training GO! We can't be stopped!
For those of you who selected a perk, we will finally begin getting them out to you as a small token of our tremendous gratitude for stepping up in support of our efforts to connect more people to nature! Thanks for your patience!

We found and secured a perfect location in the Northern California forest, near Lucerne, where we will be outdoors all weekend - not conference rooms for us! See the attached photo!
I have recruited four passionate volunteers who have been working with me tirelessly scheduling interviews and are now working on our weekend curriculum.
With an application process that began over a month ago, I am proud say we now have a solid roster of leaders ranging in age, gender, region, profession, and interests. One leader from Tennessee even coins herself as a "nature socialite"!
Expect an announcement of the leadership team soon, as well as more goodies from us!
