Two down, ??? to go!
While you fine folks were pushing our current funding level over my initial goal (oh my goodness THANK YOU!), I was out getting the first of my new piercings since this project began. I'm already really happy with them and looking forward to showing them off.
Funders at the Scalpel Stabber level and above will be getting pictures soon--while I've still got a little of the placement marks on my face and the bars are a bit too long to account for expected swelling. (This is to make up for lack of in-progress pictures, which wasn't logistically feasible this time around.) Everyone who's donated at the Needle Stabber level or higher will get slightly more flattering pictures in a day or two when everything's settled out a little bit more. You can of course still get in on either of those if you haven't yet; it's $40 for Scalpel Stabber and just $5 for Needle Stabber (and that would be cumulative with anything you've given so far).
I've been watching the donor list creep outside my immediate social circles to friends-of-friends and other passersby who got interested in the project one way or another. Welcome, new folks! I'm delighted to have your help, and encourage you to keep sharing the link around.
