Wed May 08 '13 Announcement from New Authorized Translation of a Classic Yiddish Novel into English

Thanks so much to everybody for a fantastic first day! We raised over $6100 in the 24 hours after the site went live. It's really wonderful to see so many people from so many different communities making an effort to help a project like this: campers from Klezkamp and Klezkanada, old friends from grad school and a tasty representation from the international deli community. The project was featured on Cory Doctorow's widely-read website, Boingboing, and got tweeted by Ayelet Waldman. Thanks so much to everybody--and don't forget to let your friends know about it.
