Hello Friends, Movie-Lovers and Travellers,
A quick update on our "Somewhere Else Tomorrow" movie campaign: We are currently at 18.650 USD with 10 days to go! Thank you so much for your love and support. You are fantastic!!
NEWS
I have just uploaded another short movie excerpt for you
2. What happens if we don't reach our funding goal?
3. How YOU can help this campaign before it ends! (19th Nov.)
1. Kristian (my co-writer) and I have discussed a particular scene about an important turning point of the journey. It's not just about riding a motorcycle around the world, it's also about the people you meet along the way and what you can learn from them. We would like to offer a way to track our progress: http://www.indiegogo.com/210?c=gallery&a=1321667
2. You have probably been wondering what happens if we don't reach our funding goal. If we don't – the film will still be made and you get to watch it. And you will receive your Contribution Perks of course. We will neither compromise the overall quality, nor the attention to detail. However, we need to bridge the gap between the sum of the contributions and the overall costs. This means we will have to collaborate with an outside investor, which comes with some downsides (i.e. less freedom in the making) and we really want to avoid that.
3. Are you excited about this project as much as we are and want to help us reach our funding goal? You can and it's easy: From what I have learned over the last few months (preparing, promoting this campaign around the clock) it's better to engage people that really care than randomly reaching out to the masses. If you can think of only one other person that would most likely be thrilled by this film, please help by approaching him/her. Spend some time, show the movie-trailer, mention the perks and how great it feels to be helping to start up a film like this. A meeting is better than a phone call, a phone call is better than an email but every little bit counts. Follow it up after a couple of days. There are 318 of us supporting this film, if each of us takes the time and finds ONLY ONE OTHER PERSON, to support the project – we will be fine. We will be great!
Thank you all from the bottom of our heart for believing in this project and that this will be a great film to watch. We will continue to work hard on making it so.
