Well, I've got both good news and bad news. The good news is that I just learned our new landlords are willing to let my girls and I stay here a little longer than originally expected. Our original eviction date was slated for Nov. 16th (two days from now) but they have extended this timeline to allow us more opportunity to find new accommodations so it looks like we may, indeed, have shelter for Christmas after all. However, the bad news is that we still don't have the funds needed to stay here, regardless, so although our timeline has been extended our eviction will still take place (albeit probably not until mid-Dec/early January) if we, of course, don't pay the rent necessary to stay. This does not change our campaign goal but it does change "who" we would be paying our rent to (ie: to our landlords here instead of to landlord(s) at a new place) but I wanted to share this news all the same to avoid any confusion later. I hope I worded it all correctly so that everyone understands what I am saying. If not, though, please don't hesitate to ask for further details. Thanks everyone! :-)
