Why invest in higher education?
Education, especially higher education, has enormous potential in changing one’s life course. University education is linked to a person’s ability to connect and strengthen their career network. It is a golden opportunity to better not only the life of an individual, but also those
in their communities. Many organizations focus on the worthy goal of supporting primary and
secondary education. University support, however, lags behind – with huge gender inequalities in most parts of the developing world. We believe that based on a sustainable model of re-investing money in students through a mix of scholarships and loans, we can reach out to many of those who fall through the grids of official systems.
