Hi All,
We are gearing up for the Christmas season. Getting our toys ready for Amazon and Black Friday. If you would like your toys ONLY in advance, please let me know directly and we will be happy to send it to you before Book #2 is ready for print.
Book #2 "Kai and his Magical Bobo" is currently in Beta stage. Illustrations are done and the manuscript draft has been sent to several editors. It's now just a waiting game to get their final edits back to us, so that we can begin book formating. Then once that is done it goes into print.
We anticipate a release date of 11-19-2019.

Can you believe it's almost the end of a decade? So much has happened to our family the past 10 years. It's nice to reflect back on the amount of growth we had on mind, body, and spirt, but we keep moving forward. I envision that we will have many more opportunities and more doors opened to us in 2020.
Havy and I got the chance to be guests on Houston's #1 Radio Station KRBE 104.1 yesterday. We were featured on Freddy Cruz Around H-Town segment to talk about our books, toys, and mission. It was a fun learning experience and will prepare us for future interviews.

Today marks our LAST day of production which is very bittersweet ... I think we're all excited to see this film come together in post-production, but sad that we'll be missing out on some of the comraderie that comes with set life. But, to celebrate production coming to a close, I will add some of my favorite behind-the-scenes photos to this campaign to give you all a 'sneak peek' to the finished product.

Tue Oct 29 '19 Announcement from A Nightmare On Elm Street, fan film - UP ALL NIGHT
The script:
It has gone through ten drafts now but, the script has now been finalised and we are ready for February. We have a 100% original story. We are not recreating a Nightmare story already told and we are not continuing on from a story already told. You, as fans, deserve more than just a re-telling or a continuation upon another story. You deserve something new and exciting that hasn't been seen before and we have just that for you! One thing we have started doing though is collecting props from the various other films. By this I mean, things that have appeared in the background of the other films will also be seen here. Little Easter Eggs for the true fans to appreciate. Want an example? Nancy's diary in the first film will be seen...
Feedback:
Some of the feedback from the people reading the script has been great (and funny) to read. Whilst people have enjoyed the story, they were worried about how "vulgar" the script was and weren't sure if they were in the position of their career to be seen as such (keep in mind we are not showing anything untoward in this film). Is it vulgar? Well, I mean... It's Freddy. What do people expect? He's dark, he's twisted and the way he is revealed in the story will get you guys and girls talking for sure. Personally, we're excited to hear the reactions from the viewers.
I've also been sharing news of the deleted scene from the second script we have lined up to shoot (depending on how much capital we raise here). People have laughed at it but followed that up with, "Oooh, yeah, not sure you'll get away with that" and so, sensibly, the ending was changed. BUT... I have included the ending for the second story as a bonus for the pocket book we are releasing so you can see for yourself (these booklets are limited to 25 only so if you want one, be quick before they're gone). I genuinely get a smile on my face and a Devil's twinkle in my eye when I describe it but I can understand why some people are a little "concerned" by it. Please keep in mind, they're only worried about because of the times we live in and not because they think it sucks. If they thought the latter, I probably wouldn't be so quick to write it into the special edition book!
The Cast:
We were looking to have the cast completed by Saturday just gone but we have had so many fantastic auditions, we are still going through them. I am sure you can understand that we do not want to rush the casting process. We want to get it right to ensure the highest quality film we can. It doesn't matter how good a script is, if the casting is off - the film just won't work. But rest assured we are nearing a decision on this and as soon as Marlow is cast, the actress will be announced here and on social media page.
Conversations with Mick Strawn:
Matt and Mick spoke via Skype the other week, discussing the reveal of Freddy. Whilst Matt had a clear image in mind, Mick stepped forward with a way of improving it so - off Matt went to tweak the script again! The start was also tweaked and, again, more of the dialogue was tightened up. Again, nothing worse than a film with poor dialogue!
Working as a team:
So what is it like working with the team? So far, so good! It's not unheard of people butting heads in this industry. Everyone wants their voice to be heard but we're gelling well and everyone is bringing their ideas to the table. Some make it down onto paper, others stayed there on the table but - everyone is being heard and Matt, for one, has always been adamant he wanted a screenplay that everyone was happy with. So if that meant constant rewrites, he was only too happy to get them done! Of course it helps with the US side of the team being good friends and a working team, having done many short films and Friday 13th: Vengeance together too. Although, it is fair to say Matt is chomping at the bit to get out there and get filming already but, February's not that far away, right?
Perks:
More perks have been added, more have sold out since the last mesage about perks. There's still some fantastic ones to be claimed, including dinner with the cast and crew (alochol not included) and replica signed gloves as well!
The Campaign as a whole:
It's getting to that time of the year where people struggle to invest in projects due to family commitments and holiday seasons so we have stumbled these last few days but the initial boost we had was truly fantastic so - again - thank you for that! All we ask is that, if you have the time, you share the page with your horror loving friends! Why do we want to keep raising more? Simply put: the more we raise, the more we shoot and we want to bring you NIGHTMARES....

Greetings supporters of the Flash of the Spirit festival!
Last week we wrapped it up with an amazing concert at Union Stage with the legendary Zamrock band formed in the 1970s from Zambia W.I.T.C.H. and two screenings of Ethiopiques: Revolt of the Soul at Suns Cinema! We raised about $2,300 from our crowd funding campaign thanks to YOU which helped pay for most of our expenses that were not covered by admission to the festival events. In other words, everyone got paid as well as the bills!
We will be contacting all you who contributed in November with your contribution perks like coffee mugs, stickers, and gift certificates. Please be patient as we are waiting for some of the merchandise to be shipped.
Lastly we will be phasing out Multiflora Productions by the end of the year and merging Multiflora to Electric Cowbell to consolidate our interests under one umbrella so if you haven't done so already please start following Electric Cowbell on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with our year-round live music and film programming in DC and around the US.

WITCH from Zambia at Union Stage. W.I.T.C.H (an acronym for "We Intend To Cause Havoc") were formed during Zambia's golden post-independence days, and were headed by lead vocalist Emanuel "Jagari" Chanda (pictured below).
Ethiopiques: Revolt of the Soul film at Suns Cinema. This screening was part of the Flash of the Spirit festival. The jazz-funk music that came out of Addis Ababa in the 1960s and 70s was complex, fun, original, and nearly lost to the world. Meet the Ethiopian artists who forged this beautiful new sound amid constant political turmoil and repression, and feel the passion that has gone into keeping that sound alive, many of whom took up residence later in Washington, DC and are still active today.
Yours truly spinning some vinyl at the Meso Creso party at the DC Eagle last Saturday. Blowing off some steam and laying down some heat!

Dear backers,
We’d like to give everyone an update on production status.
We know you have been anxiously awaiting a status update and apologize for the wait as we wanted to make sure we had all of the proper information so that we can be as transparent as possible with our community.
Firstly, you’ve continued to show us support and with that comes appreciation from our team in over the last few weeks. Due to peak season, the shipping date will be delayed as the factory has bulk order has to complete. The factory has expanded production assembly scale, they will finish our pledges in urgency. We’ve been hard at work and in close coordination with our manufacturers to complete production and gear up for our mass production. It has kept many of us quite busy.
We expect the first container to leave our factory about November 25 to December 5, and we will be shipping as production is completed. We're providing these dates to give everyone a better idea of our progress, but we ask that you keep in mind that when developing a new product, the final assembly date may deviate a little as we get closer and closer to shipping. With that in mind, unfortunately, we have to push delivery back until the latter of November 2019 when we expect the first wave of shipments to begin.
We understand that this may not be the news you wanted to hear, but know that we’re hard at work on a daily basis working in tangent with our partners to make sure everything will be produced properly. We want you to know what is going on from our end and we will be delivering a great product to you!

Hey Supporters!
The campaign is only 10 days in and I am SO incredibly grateful to be $45 away from meeting 50% of my goal!
At this point, the creative team is busy in pre-production of the film which includes: location scouting and booking rentals, compiling shot lists and making sure we have the gear we need to make those shots possible. Building our crew and prepping the actors with shoot dates, costume requirements, scripts, etc.
With only $45 to go, I believe that 50% of the goal should be reached mid-week without a hitch! I look forward to continuing to post updates along the way with how the film is coming together!
