One of the "perks" in my crowdfunder is an opportunity to support the arts in Atlanta! The participating theatres include ART Station, Dad's Garage, Horizon Theatre, Synchronicity Theatre, and Theatrical Outfit.
 
Here's how it works ?:
There are 4 levels of the "Support the Arts" perks: $65, $125, $200, and $250. We'll use $65 as an example. If you contribute $65 to my No Big Whoop crowdfunder, I will donate $100 (retail value) worth of whoopies to a local theatre to sell at their concessions (or to use at a reception, whatever they want). If you contribute $125, I will donate $200 worth; $200=$300 worth, and $250=$400! You get to choose the theatre, or leave it up to me!

As you all might be aware, the delay in receiving our funds caused a slight delay down the pipe. Our apologies! 

 

But the good news is that the manufacturer is busy working on the production sample! We're told that they should have one ready in 5-7 weeks for us to review. We're taking this time to code the new microcontroller and accelerometer as well as give our logo an updated look. We're very excited!

 

The LumiLevel will be a mix of blue anodized aluminum, laser engravings and soft TPU rubber. 

 

The manufacturer's extruded aluminum supplier has increased their minimum order quantity, which we must absorb, so we've launched a second Kickstarter campaign to try and cover the additional costs.

 

So things are well under way! Please look out for our next update!

Glynn is best known for her role in Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers. She is a national treasure to the horror genre and we couldn’t be more excited that she is joining several indie projects including Terrifier 2, Teacher Shortage, and much more!

Hi all,

So there is now 36 hourse left on the campaign. I extended it to the full 60 day funding period to see if we could hit 10K to hit the stretch goal. It may still happen (stranger things have occured).

Inking is coming on well. I don't want to show too much at this point. I have almost a month free to work on Mary Boys and the perk sketches, so I'm really looking forward to that. 

There are still some sketch tier backers who need to let me know what they want me to draw. I've emailed all of you, so please get in touch if you haven't already done so. I'm stoked with the cool requests received so far.

Dear friends and Floe contributors,

I hope this finds you well! The Seldoms are having a busy fall, both building in the studio and appearing at Chicago area venues. Next Thursday at 7pm we are performing at the Poetry Foundation, sharing excerpts of Floe and placing this dance theater work about climate change in dialogue with Losing Miami, a book of poetry about this important US coastal city already experiencing rising sea levels. The author, Gabriel Ojeda-Sagué, will be reading from Losing Miami, which opens:

Just a few words, less than 200 maybe, to catch you up on the current effort.

First, thank you so much for contributing. It’s a slow start, but I’m confident we can do it, but I may need your help. I’ll send some suggestions in the next update, but essentially, please share the links to your social media and tell all your friends. It really does help! It’s not just that you’re so damn good looking, you do make a difference, too!

A few folks have asked what the stretch goals might be. Remember, we don’t make the goal, the calendar won’t be funded. If you do, how about I replace some of the comics in the calendar with all new comics? More stickers? If you have an idea, send me a note!
